Meet Alex, a lover of nature and tech wizard who calls Volusia County home. Since obtaining his Environmental Science and Geography degree, he’s been an active champion for the environment and a cutting-edge geographic information systems professional. Alex merges his passion for nature and skills in tech consulting to enhance environmental conservation efforts. He now uses these skills to steer large-scale data analysis projects.

Since joining Clearview Geographic in 2022, Aaron has significantly contributed to managing IT infrastructure and supports efforts in data analytics, visualization, and application design and deployment. With his exceptional web and graphic design skills, he earned an Associate in Science degree from Florida Technical College in Deland in 2011. After completing his degree, Aaron gained experience as an IT support technician, where he excelled in modifying and upgrading computers.

Jason is an esteemed Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Executive Director of Stetson University's Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience. He is also a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Environmental Management. Jason's expertise lies in landscape and systems ecology, and he is highly skilled in dataset development, spatial modeling, and flood hazard vulnerability assessments using GIS. He has been the principal investigator or co-principal investigator for fourteen projects since 2011, focusing on coastal flooding vulnerability and adaptation in various states. Jason has also led the technical analyses and served as the primary author for Watershed Management Plans in both Monroe County, FL, and Chatham County, GA. The Monroe County Coastal Watershed Management Plan has been recognized for its sea-level rise vulnerability assessment methodology, becoming one of the first coastal communities in the United States to achieve a Class 4 compliant WMP under the National Flood Insurance Program's Community Rating System.

Jake Gianelle
Environmental Scientist
Jake, a native of Salisbury, MD, is a dedicated environmental scientist who earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021 while residing in Asheville, NC. He kick-started his career in the environmental industry by interning with Zev Cohen & Associates, where he honed his skills in various fields, including environmental permitting, tree surveying, wetland delineation, gopher tortoise surveying, and wildlife monitoring. His enthusiasm for outdoor activities like biking and hiking is matched by his passion for competitive sports. Jake enjoys spending his free time with his wife Cynthia, exploring the great outdoors, and discovering new adventures.
