Coastal Resiliency Planning: Helping Chatham County Prepare for the Future
Our team at Clearview Geographic was thrilled to assist Chatham County, Georgia with their resiliency planning efforts. Our primary objective was to identify potentially vulnerable coastal areas due to climate-driven flood scenarios, an issue that can have a significant impact on the community. We provided several maps and geographic information systems that showcased various inundation scenarios during regular tide phases.
Our team identified numerous assets and infrastructure that could potentially be impacted by flooding in the years 2040, 2070, and 2100. By providing detailed geographic information systems and map outputs, we were able to give Chatham County a better understanding of potential vulnerabilities and aid them in their resiliency planning efforts. Our focused analysis for the City of Savannah proved to be especially valuable, allowing us to identify specific areas that require immediate attention.
We understand the importance of being prepared for potential natural disasters and the impact they can have on the community. Our team is dedicated to helping communities like Chatham County prepare for the future and minimize the impact of natural disasters. We are proud to have helped Chatham County and are excited to continue providing high-quality geographic information systems to our clients.
